She was going to kill him. She didn’t care how many people had tried and failed in the past to do just that, she was going to murder Tony Stark for what he had done that evening. Pepper stormed out of the museum, the sounds of the Gala spilling out onto the street, and marched to the car Happy had waiting out front. As she got in, slamming the door, her dripping wet dress staining the car seat (though she couldn’t care less at the moment), she barked one order to the rather frightened looking driver.

“Drvie. Now.”

“Where’s Mr. Stark-“

“I said drive!” Happy knew better than to cross a pissed off Pepper and so he drove, too scared to ask just what happened to enrage her so. Pepper started fishing olives out of her dress and scowled as she muttered under her breath.

“I am going to kill him. This is the last time he’s humiliated me, I swear.” And she meant it this time. She wasn’t going to give in to his apologise and puppy dog eyes, she wasn’t going to forgive him as usual and put it all behind her because he was Tony Stark and that’s what you do, she wasn’t going to smile and laugh when she thought about this night down the road, she wasn’t. She just wasn’t. Not this time. This time, Tony would pay.

If anyone feels uncomfortable in any sort of way—please, do not hesitate to tell us. We were keep the conversation private and will not tell anyone of what we have spoken about. I just don’t want there to be hidden feelings towards anybody or anyone. I’m here to help in any way, just as Ellie is. We want to make sure this roleplay group prospers. As well as the friendships we’ve made with you all.

Steve Rogers was an old fashioned man, and not inexcusably so considering the period from which he hailed; he was courteous, trustworthy, always said please and thank you, and never, not once, had he arrived unannounced to a location he was not planning on storming with a squad of well-armed troops. Perhaps that’s what was so perplexing, if not a source of his mild frustration. How many times had Steve phoned the billionaire of his impending arrival? How many clumsy reminders had he punched out via mobile device? Did he not give the man ample opportunity to acknowledge his visit on Wednesday, May 9th, 2012? Obviously not given the way Mr. Jarvis, the kindly man who spoke from the ceiling (it remained the only way he could hope to comprehend the disembodied voice), responded to his knock at the door of the Malibu home.

“Thank you, sir”, the Captain replied as the door unlatched itself after a few rounds of, “Mr. Stark insists that you return at a later time”, and, “He expresses that he is preoccupied with several pressing matters”, and it swung open to bid him entrance. Next came the fun part. Stark wasn’t the only one with pressing matters to attend to, and unlike the billionaire, Rogers fully intended to carry out his special orders— rather than hide away in a vacation home for a week and a half—no matter how irksome said special orders may very well be. It was like baby-sitting with this man, truly.

The super soldier turned to watch just as the door came to a sound close— on its own accord, of course— before setting his blue-eyed stare down the hall. “Would you mind pointing me in the right direction, Mr. Jarvis?”

Alrighty. Time to rein in the (incredibly capricious) troops.

Biography (about one paragraph)—

Alice Chambers was born and raised in the small town of Sterling, Connecticut. Both of her parents were involved in psychiatrically adept studies, her mother being psychologists as her father was specialized in neurology, specifically ”dream” psychology. At a young age, Alice developed a severe case of insomnia and lucid dreaming. And after years of restless nights, Alice decided to approach her family about the matter. And instead of guiding her to better health, they latched onto her like some sort of experiment. And insomnia and dreams seemed to intensify within every test. Therefore, Alice never really met eye-to-eye with them, but found refuge with her younger sister, Addison. In-fact, Addison was the only one Alice necessarily bonded with in her entirety; Alice had her occasional relationship and friendships but never stuck with them. She wasn’t much of a social butterfly despite her cynical and humorous behavior; she just didn’t like the idea of attachment. Alice was what one would classify as a ‘loner.’

She soared academically in the ranks in high school, specifically taking a liking to mathematics, computer programming and engineering. After one dire neurosis trial that went terribly wrong, Alice’s continuing, lucid dreams soon became to be more of a threat then to just her. Alice would always dream of an entirely different, and fantasy-like realm that apparently was named, “Galendan” filled with grotesque, spine chilling, ugly creatures that called themselves, “Gelandanians.” After rendered unconscious from her father to explore the fibers of her brain, he brought out a terrible feat. After some sort of tampering, he somehow managed to rip out of the peculiar Gelandanians of Alice’s subconscious once she awakened. The creature made a complete wreckage of the lab, only being able to die at the hand of Alice… due to the fact that she was the only one able to see it. From then on, Alice stayed up for two weeks without sleep and attempted desperately to keep awake in order to prevent herself from bringing another beast into reality. Matters seemed to die down after a while, her family keeping her certain… “issue” a private matter. The family moved on, and Alice did as well, graduating high school with flying colors and intended to go to an extremely specialized college in computer-programming/engineering in New York.

Alice planned to leave for the city and live with her aunt almost immediately after graduation. However, the day after the graduation ceremony, a group of thugs had broken into their home. The thugs had murdered her sister and burned the house down. Alice was the only one who got out without a scratch so rumors had been going around that she was at fault. And her dismissive, aloof behavior about the incident certainly didn’t help her cause. She escaped from the local tabloids, to Manhattan afterwards and started living a life there.

Alice decided to throw away her old life, attempt to push down the dreams and move on…. But she went about it in a very different way. She had become rather corrupted and joined a group of bandits that called themselves, “The Diavoletti.” Eventually, she stopped going to school altogether and started every living minute with her thieving friends, with an underlying intention tohide. She also dabbled into drug trafficking for a while, but that was soon ended when she was caught with over a pound of unprescribed oxycontin and DMT in her duffelbag. The rabid fighting continued with her aunt, being kicked out from time to time. But for some reason or another, Alice would find herself reluctantly going back to that apartment. Alice had just turned 25 the day Loki unleashed his army. Alice was walking the streets of Manhattan the day of the city’s attack. And she was highly noted for being able to fend for her own and protect other people that day only using scrap metal she could find and sleuth-like, improvised traps to rid of the Chitauri.

Although she had burned her bridge with the private school she attended, they highly recommended her for the SHIELD program proclaiming her as ‘one of the most intelligent student’s that had ever attended there.’ Alice turned down the idea rather bluntly, not necessarily explaining why and continued her ways with the Diavoletti. Six months after the Manhattan incident, Alice’s aunt finally discovered Alice’s true whereabouts with the bandits and threatened for her to either leave the group and make something of her life, or she’d reveal the entire league of thieves to the authorities. Immediately in protection of her friends, Alice made the tough decision to leave the Diavoletti. And being the dismissive, unreadable woman she was… she disappeared completely one night from both parties. Most of her belongings, gone… and no word was heard from her for about a week. After that week passed, she was found at the SHIELD agency’s doorstep, inquiring for a spot in their program.

But Alice’s dreams of Galendan continued, and she harbored an extremely foul secret. A secret that could potentially destroy or perhaps, save the city if it were attacked again. But she was determined just be a lowlife thief looking for a cause… and that was it. Just as long as she didn’t sleep.

For a lab that supposedly held thirty like-minded budding scientists, Gwen was feeling rather wary of her classmates. Especially the ones seated at her designated station. Not even thirty minutes into their opening lecture on genetic recombination in field mice and a distinct odor filtered in through her nose. Blonde, bound hair spun outwards as she whipped her head towards the source: some punk who thought it would be fun to loosen a handle with ‘gas’ written on it in blue. All labs had them, it was what fueled any and all tests that required a flame or burner - but when they weren’t connected to a source and that gas was left to linger in the air of a laboratory with an abundant amount of chemicals that could possibly react, or plethora of opportunities to catch a spark…

Pleasantly put, Gwen Stacy’s mood took a drastic turn for the worse.

She slapped the students hand away, turning the lever to its proper closed position and leaning across the table. “You should leave now.” It wasn’t a threat, it wasn’t an option; it was an order. The man stared at her, his face contorting into something of an unspoken challenge. If they hadn’t been surrounded on all sides by fellow inquisitive minds, she would have reached over to slap the look right off his smug face. “Or what, Barbie?”

Now, this particular blonde wasn’t confrontational in the physical sense. In fact, she may have been tongue-and-cheek to those that she familiarized herself with, but outside of that group she kept to a relatively friendly demeanor. However, when this calm sarcasm was met with utter unscrupulous behavior by someone who dared to call themselves of equal-intellect to herself… “Tell me, are you often prone to bouts of stupidity? Or have you simply…never stepped foot inside of a professional lab environment before. I’m dangerously close to assuming the first.”
